Product Safety & Restrictions

Some items in this catalogue carry a Proposition 65 warning. Where one applies it is shown on the product page, in the cart alongside the item, and again at checkout before you pay. The two warnings that apply here are:

• Straps, cables, bands and cords are a strangulation risk. Keep them away from infants and small children, and never leave a child unattended with one.
• Not suitable for children under 3. Small parts including lock dials, tag cards and adhesive shapes are a choking hazard.
• Inflatable air-column sleeves and packaging film are a suffocation risk. Keep them away from children and dispose of them after use if they will not be reused.

Corner guards, edge trim, wheel shrouds and handle wraps are fitted by you, to your case, using the steps shown on the product page. Fit them to a clean dry surface, at room temperature, and let adhesive-backed parts settle for 24 hours before the case is handled.

A part that comes loose, or damage to your case caused by fitting a part incorrectly, is not a product fault and is not covered as one. If you are unsure whether a part suits your case, ask us before fitting it.

Where a strap states a rated working load, that figure is a straight-pull working load measured under the conditions published with it, and it is not a breaking load. Straps on this site are for holding a closed case together.

Do not use any strap sold here for hoisting, lifting, towing, load restraint on a vehicle, or any purpose involving suspending a load. It is not rated for those uses.

• Fabric covers are water-resistant under the spray conditions published with them. Seams and zipper openings are not sealed, so the cover is not water-tight and should not be treated as such.
• The transparent PVC film stiffens below roughly 5 °C and can crack if forced when cold. Fit it indoors in cold weather.
• Silicone, TPU and EVA parts are not flame resistant. Keep them away from heat sources.
• Adhesive-backed parts are removable from hard shells; on painted, printed or fabric surfaces they may lift the finish. Test on a hidden area first.

We do not sell any product containing a battery or electronics. That is a deliberate exclusion: powered luggage items are subject to certification requirements and to air transport restrictions on lithium cells, and they are outside what this catalogue is for.

We do not sell luggage itself, nor any bag or backpack. Everything here is an accessory fitted to a case you already own.
