How it is built

A transparent 0.35 mm PVC cover with bound edges and an elastic hem. The case surface underneath stays fully visible, which also means you can still identify your own case by its original finish.

Suits these shells

Hard shell, polycarbonate: Flexes under load and springs back. Takes surface scuffing more than cracking.
Hard shell, ABS: Stiffer and more brittle than polycarbonate. Corners are the usual failure point.
